Arielle Nadel, the photographer whose photos of the action figure of the child’s cardboard robot from Kiyohiko Azuma’s Yotsuba&! were compiled as 365 Days of Danboard, has created a new, adorable stop-motion Danboard video.
Damn it if this doesn’t feel like what some far-out deconstructionist take on POKEMON would look like. What with the grim prologue about an underground society that makes monsters cockfight in a subterranean arena and everything. It’s like somebody saw that POKEPOCALYPE fan trailer from a couple years back and got hit with inspiration that steadily mutated into what’s playing on my screen.
Ahead of her appearance at this summer’s Anime Expo, Aniplex has posted a special greeting from LiSA, singer of Fate/Zero’s opening, “Oath Sign.”
